Low Testosterone and Symptoms

Testosterone is a hormone produced in both males and females. Since males produce more, they are more likely to suffer uncomfortable symptoms in the body from low testosterone.  I’ll be talking about low testosterone and symptoms for men.

When people think about what testosterone does, they mostly think about how it produces muscle mass and strength and how it stimulates sex drive. There’s definitely more to testosterone than those two very important functions.

Testosterone is produced in the testicles and the adrenal glands, and ovaries in females, and serves other critical duties that you wouldn’t even suspect. In healthy males, normal testosterone levels should be between 270-1070 ng/dl.

  1. Hi. Very interesting website! As a man in his mid-50’s, and becoming more concerned about his physiological well-being, I appreciate this info. What I have recently done, with pretty good results, is a combination of vigorous exercise (boxing, skipping rope, bodyweight exercises, etc.), experimenting with more plant-based foods, and the Keto diet, less alcohol, and semen retention. I have more mental clarity, more drive to do things, and more stamina.
